This fresh Bone In Ham is cut from the whole leg of the pastured pork. It is unsmoked and has not been cured, seasoned or brined. It's completely fresh and will have the flavor of a traditional pork roast. Our butchers can cut the unsmoked ham to your desired weight anywhere from 6-18lbs.
Helpful Hints & Cooking Tricks
The flavor of a hickory smoked ham comes from the seasonings and brine used during the curing process, so keep in mind that this unsmoked ham is not yet flavored and will taste just like a pork roast if prepared as is. Farming Practices
All of our pigs here at John Henry's are fed a mix of non-GMO corn, oats, and alfalfa, and they also love to rut around in the dirt outside looking for more snacks to eat! They are raised locally, and they are never given any hormones or antibiotics. Our fields and feed are never exposed to harsh chemicals or pesticides. Our pigs are pasture-raised and spend their days being outside as much as they wish!
This marbled Pork Shoulder Roast is perfect for slow cooking or smoking. Our butcher cuts each Pork Butt at about 3 lbs. You'll receive 1 roast per package.
Our Smoked Polish Sausage, or traditional Kielbasa, is made with our pasture-raised Ground Pork, blended with a perfect mix of spices, packed in casings, then smoked for incredible flavor. Each package of polish sausage contains 2 - 10" smoked sausage links.
